Subtitle: No deaths or hospitalizations as health authorities intensify surveillance and call for strict adherence to safety protocols
The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has confirmed 14 new cases of Mpox, bringing the country’s total number of infections to 133 as of June 25, 2025.

In its latest update, GHS reported no new deaths, with the national death toll from Mpox still at zero. Encouragingly, there are no patients currently hospitalized, suggesting all active cases are being managed without admission.
Health officials continue to emphasize that Mpox primarily spreads through close physical contact with infected individuals. The public is urged to follow hygiene and safety protocols to help curb transmission.
GHS has reassured citizens that it is closely monitoring the situation and has robust response systems in place to manage and contain any emerging cases.
